A ROMSLEY drink driver has been banned from driving for more than two years.

Edgar Humphrys of Hillcrest Road drove a vehicle on Bromsgrove Road, Halesowen on December 29 last year before a blood test showed he has 253 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – exceeding the legal limit.

The 56-year-old must be under curfew with electronic monitoring for eight weeks and is disqualified from driving for 27 months.

Humphrys must pay a £95 victim surcharge and £135 in costs.
