
POLICE were called to an assault and robbery on the Clent Hills.
Two victims were assaulted during the incident on the hills at around 8.55pm on Thursday August 4.
One had his phone stolen and another victim was forced to transfer money to the suspects.
One victim was taken to hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
West Mercia Police is investigating the shocking incident and said it has increased patrols in the area.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to Clent Hills at 8.55pm on Thursday 4 August following reports of assault and robbery.
"Two victims were assaulted during the incident.
"One of them had his mobile phone stolen.
"Another victim was threatened and forced to transfer money to the suspects.
"Enquiries are ongoing and patrols have been increased in the area."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports that a man had been assaulted by a group of men near the Four Stones Monument on the Clent Hills on Thursday evening at just before 9pm.
"An ambulance was sent to the incident.
"A man was assessed at the scene and treated by the ambulance crew before being taken to hospital for further treatment."
